President William Ruto is taking part in a roundtable with journalists to discuss key issues facing Kenya, following a series of events, some of them deadly, around the Finance Bill 2024.
The Gen Z led protests across the country in a fight against higher taxation were successful, as Ruto has now withdrawn the bill.

The protesters insist, however, that they will carry on with the demonstrations as the bill was not the only problem.
The grand goal is for President Ruto to resign.
His response to the events so far has been severely criticised, with parties citing recurring issues such as corruption and police brutality.
